Rurs 6th Gen Orientation

We are happy to announce that this year’s orientation will feature one of the most influential scientists of our time, Dr. Abed Chaudhury, the renowned geneticist behind the revolutionary Panchabrihi rice innovation.

Dr. Abed Chaudhury, a prominent geneticist, is celebrated for his 45 years of groundbreaking work in the field. His most famous achievement is the creation of Panchbrihi, a unique rice cultivar that yields five harvests from a single planting. Beyond this invention, he serves as the co-founder and chief scientist at Genofax and Chairman, Krishan Foundation Where he is actively involved in developing agricultural technologies and conserving native rice types.
